Receive your Postpartum Doula care from a Licensed Midwife
& Board Certified Lactation Consultant!

​Every postpartum family deserves compassionate, informed, empowering support as they get to know their newest addition, recover from the birth and adapt to life as an expanded family. As a Midwife and Lactation Consultant, I am delighted to combine years of training and experience into a single service, offering families encouragement and guidance in whatever form will best meet their needs at the time.

Service options include:

Midwifery care

• Support recovery from birth with herbs, homeopathy, and more
• Screen baby for jaundice and supporting through at home treatment
• Weigh baby and tracking normal weight loss and gain patterns
• Tracking baby in first few weeks to ensure normal development 

Lactation support

• Guidance in healthy nursing habits from the start
• Troubleshoot latch & positioning issues as soon as they arise
• Screening & treatment for common challenges
• Assistance with learning to use pump, bottles & pumped milk

Traditional Postpartum Doula services

• Discuss newborn development & what to expect in the coming days and weeks
• Help parents learn to interpret their baby's cues 
• Instruction in swaddling, diapering, bathing, nail trimming, etc.
• Assistance in optimal set up of nursing, sleep and play areas
• Care for baby while you eat or shower
• Run errands

Postpartum Doula care visits usually last 2 to 5 hours, with a fee of $45 per hour.  
Contracts are established prenatally when possible, with a minimum number of hours
​agreed upon and a deposit paid upon hiring.

​​The Fine Print

*  Travel within Sonoma county is included in visit fee. 
An additional fee of $50 may apply to visits to Marin, Solano, SF and Alameda counties.
