​Expecting & Postpartum Solo Parent Support Group
(Virtual, babies welcome)


This group is for anyone who is currently expecting or parenting a new baby, via pregnancy, fostering, adoption or surrogacy.  Babies (and all that we do for them) are welcome; the fabulous thing about a virtual group is that you can leave your connection muted and come and go as needed.  Connect and form community during this especially sweet and pivotal time in your solo parenting journey, and follow along with each other as we learn and grow together!
Entering parenthood, with its many avenues, joys and challenges, can be both empowering and isolating for a person exploring this path on their own.  Ours is a vibrant, amazing community who come together for a shared language and experience, and to make connections that will be a source of encouragement, information, support, resources, and connection throughout this journey.  

​These groups meet online using Zoom, allowing folks from all over the world to gather, create community and offer support, as they enter the complex world of solo parenthood.  A series meets for 1 1/2 hours, every other week, for 6 sessions over 3 months.  This series allows for a deeper sense of community and continuity, and occurs seasonally.
All groups are facilitated by Rebecca (Plum) Elowen, LM, IBCLC, CST-I.
