​​Starting Strong in the 1st Week

Take a proactive approach to that crucial first week after birth, with two (2) Lactation Consultation visits, each combined with postpartum midwifery care (including weighing of the baby, screening for jaundice, checking baby's heart and lungs, monitoring vital signs and recovery from birth, checking perineal healing, and more).

The fee for this package is $435 (a $75 savings off the individual services).

Optimizing The First Two Weeks

Newborns can lose up to 10% of their birth weight in the first week after birth, and are expected to regain that weight by the end of their second week.  Optimize your first two weeks by making sure that you have the support you need to make a strong start, address issues early, and keep your milk supply, latching/nursing, and recovery from birth on track all the way back to birth weight and beyond.  This package includes three (3) Lactation Consultation visits combined with postpartum Midwifery Care (encompassing all of the screenings and checks listed above in the one week package), applied over the course of your first two weeks postpartum.

The fee for this package is $630 (a $100 savings off the individual services).

Complete Care for the 1st 40 Days

Many traditional societies consider the first 40 days after birth to be a sacred time in which the birth parent and baby are to be nurtured, fed, and supported as they recover from birth, develop the baby's immune system, get to know each other, and establish their nursing relationship.  This is often called the "Baby Moon."   In this most complete package, we honor the Baby Moon by offering new families visits throughout the first 40 days; this will most often look like two visits in the first week, and weekly visits thereafter, for a total of five (5) visits, though these may be used in whatever schedule is most helpful to the family at the time.  Each visit will include both Lactation Consultation and Postpartum Midwifery Care.

The fee for this package is $915 (a savings of $255 off the individual services).
