Single Pregnant & Postpartum Parents Group
Parenthood, with its many avenues, joys and challenges, can be both empowering and isolating for the single person. Ours is a diverse and remarkable community who come together for a shared language and experience, and to make connections that will be a source of encouragement, information, support, resources, and connection throughout this journey. This group is for single people who are doing it on their own terms, and are now pregnant, have a baby on the way (via surrogacy, adoption or fostering), or are in the postpartum or newly adopted period (3 weeks to 3 months). The intergenerational nature of this community encourages each of you to bring your unique experience into the circle, offering what you’ve learned, and learning from others that are at various other stages in the journey.
This group meets every other Sunday afternoon, in the East Bay.
Facilitated by Rebecca Plum, of Hearthstone Midwifery.
